Called and when I answered there was no reply at first although I could hear the phone line was live. After about five to six seconds a woman with a foreign accent then stated she was calling from the Academy of Learning and asked if there were any children attending school. Told her I was not interested and hung up.
This is the same crowd that are under investigation regarding their practice and costs.Angry replied 2014-11-24 12:27:43If it is the Academy of Learning, then they are already in trouble with the Authorities for their exorbitant prices and getting people into debt for multiple thousands of dollars.
In addition, the software they scam people with doesn't properly. -

Caller announces they are from Academy of learning then asks if there are children attending school and if have time for a "quick survey". Then attempts to promote their service.

Finally they've stopped ringing my mobile phone but now they ring the home landline!
Same numbers both local Auckland number & Australian number much like the other complaints.
Considering changing our phone number, this has been going on for months!

Called, would not speak and then hung up. Rang back the number a couple of times, got very static sounding line and then hangs up after a couple of seconds. No one speaks either way.

We get a phone call from this number every day, Monday to Friday. Sometimes it shows up as 00610116495790220, sometimes as 095790220. After looking it up when we missed the first call and saw it linked to spam, we refuse to answer but that doe not stop them from phoning daily. Not sure what it will take for them to get the message that we are not interested.
