Advising that I was to receive $950 NZ plus 5 years interest from company that sold vacation to 5 years or so ago. Stated I could pay $199 to receive the necessary paperwork so I could have money sent. Payment via Western Union
John replied 5/8/17, 8:18 PMMy Mother was contacted by this number this evening 8th May. She was scammed 4 years ago and tonights call was similar to yours. I will contact the police tomorrow and report the attemted scam

Had several calls over 3 days saying I was due for Payout of approx. $4000.00 due to scammers about 3yrs ago trying to sell holiday package. I never bought a holiday package. Wanted to do paperwork on computer or go to Post Office and complete it there. My service provider checked out the number and the 'assumed' company it was claiming to be. They advised me to ring police, quoting phone numbers and name of caller.
