The caller addressed me by my first name so obviously had some account details then I thought she said she was from AT (Auckland Transport). Then she said something about 2 Degrees (the cellphone company) then asked if I would answer some survey questions including:
• do you want to get cheaper broadband every month?
• do you own a house? I declined to answer that and then she said if I did she could hook me up with a good deal on solar panel installation.
• do you have a Kiwisaver account?
There were other questions I declined to answer as well as they seemed quite intrusive but in each instance she explained why she asked them and most seemed to be in relation to getting a better deal on something.
