A phone call telling me I’ve been put through to the next phase in a competition - even though I don’t remember entering a competition. They proceeded to ask me if I was interested in donating to a number of charities …that I’m sceptical of! I don’t know how they got my number and email. It wasn’t an obvious scam - no asking for personal details or money, but still don’t think I trust it.

Called saying I was through to next steps of a competition. I probably did enter a silly comp but always do with a 'spam-trap' email address. They had my postcode and obviously my mobile number though. Persisted asking me questions, whether I have a pet, or a car etc. I eventually hung up. The lady was evidently calling from a call centre.
