Older sounding man called me yesterday around 5 pm asking if I was working and a homeowner with a mortgage. I told him multiple times I had no interest in being a landlord. He basically told me every single other person he had spoken to was interested and he couldn't fathom why I wasn't. I told him bluntly that I'm not interested. Was extremely persistent. Should have just hung up on him.

Cold call offering financial solutions for becoming mortgage free and financially independant. Was confused when I questioned how she got my number (after more probing, through a random number generator). Very pushy about finding out if I owned my own home. When I kept saying I'm/we're not interested, she offered their website, which I declined. She was then a little rude, saying I hope you manage to get through life OK (I thought that was funny). She said that no-one has said they're not interested before! But looking at all this feedback....

Caller named Tina from NZ Assist called me on 10/10/23.
She introduced herself very quickly (wanting to skip asking her questions).
I stopped her and asked her to repeat.
She then advised she is wanting to talk to homeowners regarding investments and mortgages.
I told her I was not interested; she was pleasant and had an NZ accent.
After I told her I wasn't interested she continued to fish for information like, "do you own your property?" and "do you have a mortgage on it".
I reminded her I am not interested in her product and hung up. She was slightly pushy and mildly irritating but not to the extent that I had to be verbally rude to her.
